Workplace First Aid


This one-day course is perfect for individuals who work in workplaces and for those who have an interest in learning the fundamentals of first aid.


Throughout this course, you will benefit from scenario-based activities, providing you with:


1. Confidence in identifying and treating a wide range of injuries, from minor ones to life-threatening medical emergencies.

2. Skills to provide essential assistance and perform CPR until more experienced help is available.

3. A stepping stone to advance your first aid training to more advanced levels.

4. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Workplace First Aid certificate that remains valid for 2 years.


Course Content


You will learn to recognize and provide basic life support, including:


1. Hazard & scene management

2. Patient positioning and assessment

3. CPR for adults, children, and infants

4. Defibrillator (AED)

5. Choking procedures for adults, children, and infants


Additionally, you will learn how to recognize and provide first aid for the following situations:


1. Allergic reactions (anaphylaxis)

2. Asthma

3. Bleeding and shock

4. Burns

5. Diabetes

6. Fractures and dislocations

7. Heart attacks and chest pain

8. Poisoning

9. Seizures

10. Soft tissue injuries

11. Strokes


Successfully completing this training will equip you to handle these situations with confidence and skill.


Prerequisites and Requirements


To participate in the course, attendees must meet the following criteria:


1. Age requirement: Attendees must be 14 years or older.

2. Physical capability: Participants should be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and complete assessments in English.

3. Refund policy: Please note that first aid courses are non-refundable.
